M. Tech Evening

M.Tech Evening course of duration 7 semesters are being conducted in College of Engineering ,Thiruvananthapuram in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication branches. 10 seats are available in each specialisation.

The specialization available for M.Tech Evening course are:

Civil Engineering

Specialisation	Qualifying Degree
(i) Environmental Engineering	B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Kerala or equivalent
(ii) Geotechnical Engineering
(iii) Hydraulics Engineering
(iv) Structural Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

Specialisation	Qualifying Degree
(i) Machine Design	B.Tech Degree in Mechanicl/Industrial/Production Engineering from University of Kerala or equivalent
(ii) Thermal Science
(iii) Industrial Engineering
(iv) Propulsion Engineering

Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Specialisation	Qualifying Degree
(i) Control Systems	B.Tech Degree in Electrical/Electrical&Electronics Engineering from University of Kerala or equivalent
(ii) Electrical Machines
(iii) Guidance & Navigation Control
(iv) Power Systems

Electronics & Communication Engineering

Specialisation	Qualifying Degree
(i) Microwave & T.V. Engineering	B.Tech Degree in Electronics & Communication / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from University of Kerala or equivalent
(ii) Applied Electronics & Instrumentation

Only selected specialisations of each branch will be offered for admission in a year as notified by the Institution.

Eligibility:

Candidates should possess B.Tech in relevent stream with minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).

Candidates should have Technical/Engineering employment with a minimum of two years experience after passing the qualifying examination at the time of application.

Candidates with AMIE/AMIETE and having valid GATE score are eligible to apply if they have 60% aggregate in section B of AMIE/AMIETE examination and professional experience of three years after passing the qualifying examination at the time of application.
