Evening (Formerly Part-time) Degree Courses are offered in selected Engineering Colleges of the state for students possessing Diploma to acquire Bachelor Degree in Engineering. The Course extends over a period of four academic years. The classes will be conducted normally in the evening on all working days and on holidays, if necessary, in accordance with the syllabi of the concerned Universities.

Fee Structure

Admission Fee : Rs. 600 to be paid at the time of admission

Tuition Fee : Rs. 7000 per year to be paid in two installments

Special Fee : Rs. 1200 per year to be paid in one installment

Caution Deposit : Rs. 1000 to be paid at the time of admission (refundable)

Pre-Matriculation : as prescribed by the University.

Eligibility of Admission

(a) Candidates shall be Indian Nationals employed in Kerala State .

(b) Candidates shall have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education or equivalent.

(c) Candidates should be in permanent professional employment at the time of applying. They should have at least two years of professional experience at the time of applying after passing the Diploma Examination in any of the following type of establishments:

(i)Government Organizations.

(ii)Quasi- Government Organizations.

(iii)Industrial firms duly registered under Co-operative Society's Act.

(iv)Public or Private Limited companies registered under Companies act.

(v)Private-aided Polytechnics and Private-aided and un-aided Engineering Colleges in the state.
